Shark Bay, Western Australia

Shark Bay's landscape is a testament to stark contrasts: turquoise waters against white sands, the dark blues of deeper seas, and the rich reds and ochres of the earth. Here, the features speak plainly: ancient stromatolites, the guardians of history; seagrass beds, home to elusive dugongs; and sprawling salt pans, reflecting the sky. It's a landscape reduced to its bare elements, where every colour and shape tells a story of survival and time.

Edition Information

All prints are Open Edition, meaning they are not limited in quantity.

Signed Prints

Steven Stanley Manolakis personally signs every single print, which is gently rolled within a padded tube to ensure a safe and damage-free journey to your home or business premises.

Authentication

Each print is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity (COA), with matching serially-numbered holograms for anti-tamper and anti-counterfeit protection.

Receive your beautiful fine art, personally signed by Steven Stanley Manolakis, printed on Ilford Smooth Cotton Rag, a museum-grade photo paper. Your print can be trimmed for framing if you plan on using a mat board, or we can print with a white border (a blank width of paper separating the image and frame). Border width varies depending on the artwork size and frame style. Please note that we do not frame using mat boards.

Each print is carefully rolled inside a padded
tube for safe shipping. To avoid damage, we recommend letting your professional framer remove the art to ensure proper handling of delicate Giclée prints, which are as fragile as original art. Dust, moisture, dirt, and more can scratch, crease, or dent the paper.

Steven Stanley Manolakis’ artwork is enclosed in Box Frames that protrude from the wall to create a 4-dimensional aesthetic.

Seeing as timber is a natural material, please note that it can vary significantly in appearance, colour, and grain.

Hanging Systems

All framed artwork comes standard with a split batten hanging system, providing the heavy-duty support your artwork needs to stay in place and remain flush with the wall. For enquiries regarding alternative hanging systems, please contact Steven directly.

Glazing

All prints are framed using archival quality, museum-grade anti-glare glass with scratch resistance and a 70% UV protection rating. For special artwork such as pieces enclosed in very large frames, we use high-quality acrylic which is lighter than glass and less prone to breakage during handling.

Splines

All framed artwork listed on our site features splined corners, providing both aesthetic appeal and structural integrity. Splines are slender wooden strips inserted at each corner, enhancing the frame's durability and adding an element of refined craftsmanship.
