Printing
Fine Art Printing
Each artwork is produced using the Giclée method, a high-resolution inkjet process selected for fine detail, smooth tonal transitions, and accurate colour reproduction. Fine art prints and posters use different 100% cotton papers chosen for their surface, weight, and intended presentation. The options below explain the papers and finishing styles used across the collection.
White Border
A white paper border is retained around the image, creating separation between the artwork and frame without a separate mat board. Its width is adjusted to suit the print size and frame style, producing a balanced presentation with a clearly defined image area.
Trimmed Edge
The paper is trimmed to the image edge, allowing the artwork to extend directly to the frame without a white border. This creates a larger, more immediate image area and also allows the print to be paired with a separate mat board if preferred.
Paper and Permanence
Fine Art Print Paper
Fine art prints are produced on ILFORD GALERIE Smooth Cotton Rag 310gsm, a 100% cotton paper with a smooth matte surface. Free from optical brighteners, it offers crisp detail, high colour consistency, image stability, and water resistance, while meeting ISO 9706 standards for paper permanence.
Fine Art Poster Paper
Fine art posters are produced on Breathing Color Mint Smooth 290gsm, a 100% cotton paper with a mildly textured, near-matte surface. Acid and lignin free, it offers 98% opacity and is rated under ISO standards for more than 100 years of light-fastness, supporting long-term display.
Framing
Fine art prints can be ordered with custom timber or composite box frames. Visit the Framing page to compare materials, finishes, glazing, mounting, and hanging systems, or contact the studio for guidance on selecting an option for a specific artwork or interior.
